Our background:

We’re a family-owned business. Dave Bond has been doing appraisal work exclusively since 1985. Jim Bond joined him in 1992, when they opened a new office. Their work has taken them to many parts of Massachusetts, as well as Rhode Island and New Hampshire, but they now concentrate on Eastern Massachusetts and Cape Cod.

New England properties are unusually varied in age, style, quality, and location and demand on-site, comprehensive appraisals. We enjoy inspecting historic homes, as well as new construction.

Dave Bond began real estate appraising in the early 1980s after 20 years in local journalsim and advertising. He trained with a Braintree appraisal office and spent five years as appraisal manager of Rockland Federal Credit Union before opening his own office in 1992

Jim Bond has been an appraiser and assessor since 1992, working at several residential appraisal offices and the Town of Mashpee, as well as Bond & Company. He is also associated in commercial appraising with the Lane Valuation Group, Inc., of Hingham, MA, valuing commercial multi-use properties, larger rental apartment buildings, and residential subdivisions throughout eastern Massachusetts.
