Our background:

We’re a family-owned business. Dave Bond has been doing appraisal work exclusively since 1985. Jim Bond joined him in 1992, when they opened a new office. A summary of Bond & Company's key team members is shown on the right. Their work has taken them to many parts of Massachusetts, as well as Rhode Island and New Hampshire, but they now concentrate on Eastern Massachusetts and Cape Cod.

New England properties are unusually varied in age, style, quality, and location and demand on-site, comprehensive appraisals. We enjoy inspecting historic homes, as well as new construction.

Jim Bond has been an appraiser since 1992, working at several residential appraisal offices, as well as Bond & Company. He is also associated in commercial appraising with the Lane Valuation Group, Inc., of Hingham, MA, valuing commercial multi-use properties, larger rental apartment buildings, and residential subdivisions throughout eastern Massachusetts.

Nancy Ritchie joined Bond & Company in 2001 after completing required appraisal courses for a trainee license. She has extensive experience on the South Shore and Cape Cod, where she now lives.

Michael F. Putnam came to work with Bond & Company in 2003 with extensive experience in rental property management, maintenance, and investment in Massachusetts and Florida. He ran a painting contracting company for 20 years before studying real estate appraising.
